If you’re like many homeowners in the north Dallas metroplex ( McKinney, Allen, Plano, Wylie, Richardson and surrounding areas ), this time of year you’re getting in your backyard projects before summer hits in 2025.
For those with swimming pools, this also means getting your pool ready for summer of fresh backyard memories.
From family get-togethers, weddings, birthday parties, 4th of July celebrations or even if you prefer the solitude alone around your pool area, summer is a rich time to create long-lasting memories each year.
If your pool area is looking a little stale or some areas could use a bit of a professional touch to upgrade, it can be a challenge to know where to start.

While a lot of attention goes toward the pool itself when it comes to upgrade projects, don’t forget about the area around your swimming pool — otherwise known as your pool deck.
I’ve seen a lot of really creative pool decks over the years, but just like your pool it can be reimagined and customized to match your home’s unique architecture, giving your property a complete, unified look.

If your summertime pool activities extend into the late evenings, swimming pool lighting upgrades can offer you a brand new look and feel this summer.
